I bought these to replace my recently purchased Linen Pottery Sheets. They're definitely not as soft as the PB, but they're also $100 cheaper, so I can't complain. I've washed them twice (including soaking them in baking soda, advice I got from a reviewer here) and they seem softer than they were when they first started out, so I'm hoping they'll get even softer over time. The stitching and the elastic are all visibly very well done.

Sheets look and feel great. No smell or weird smell, was a little scary to throw them in the wash but when they came out of the dryer I shook them out, most of the creases were gone. The color is excellent. Highly recommended. I actually bought these to try linen towels this summer, so I might get a $200-$300 version from llbean or landing, but I'll get them in a different color plus a backup.

Love these sheets! I read some reviews before ordering and was concerned that they would "itch" or "scratch", but that wasn't a problem for me. However, they must be thoroughly washed before use. I suspect some of the reviewers had little to no experience with bedding and this is the reason for the mixed reviews. I have washed mine 3 times (once a week since I received them) and they are incredibly comfortable. Linen is known for its breathability and these were the best sheets I have ever had.

I wouldn't call that soft. I would call them relaxed. So quiet that the guy wanted to make a rug out of it, and then he would put that rug on his bed. I put them together and they did as I told them. After months of searching for options I settled on this one in holy finish white. I washed them twice with baking soda although they didn't smell like others have mentioned. When I first dried them on medium heat I noticed that they dry easily and much faster than my cotton sheets. Luckily my sheets didn't shrink in this high temperature. They look and feel very different from regular cotton blend bed sheets. Yes, they need to be washed several times before they become soft and look like vintage linen. Be patient.
