I highly recommend Industrial Gear

Unless you plan on burying wood in concrete (which I didn't) I highly recommend using ABA44Z connectors. You will need a 3" or 4" bolt to set into the concrete as you pour. Then simply slide the connector over the screw and tighten with the nut. Then plug your 4x4 into the slot. How easy is it! Also, 4x4 will not rot over time.

Pros
  • External Support Base
Cons
  • High Price

Made my life MUCH easier installing our deck than .

Installing our deck is MUCH easier than installing non-adjustable legs. I would still say that the easiest way to install is to get some ground contact sized 4x4 or 6x6 lumber and put it straight into the concrete holes, but if you want to do it "right" you can it can not be better . . . Only time will tell how well they hold up to the elements and support my 20x16 deck.

Pros
  • Z-Max Support Base
Cons
  • Some Small Things

Good heavy duty foot

I wanted a heavy duty foot for a 3 ton HVAC platform and it fitted just right! While not the heaviest prop you can buy, I have 5 of these under a 42" square platform and the HVAC probably weighs between 7 and 800 pounds. The Future would definitely recommend them for deck supports as well, plus they protect the 4x4 wooden post from concrete which keeps rot to a minimum.

Pros
  • Adjustable foot
Cons
  • No power
