So far, so good!

For many years I have occasionally sewed clothes on a sewing machine and thought I knew what I was doing. This is my first sergeant. It took me a month to open the box and try it - I admit I was scared. The first hour of use was very frustrating as I kept trying to apply my not so compatible sewing machine knowledge. Arrived yesterday + That's it

Arrived on time yesterday. Open the box tonight. I've attached photos to show you what's inside. Date of purchase December 2018. You can also see how many threads are on the spool of each color. That's more than other brands offer. When refilling, try to follow what other videos show. You simply attach to the previous spool of thread, reduce the tension to zero, use the manual wheel, turn + stop before you get to the needles. Good sergeant at a great price.

I'll admit the only reason I ended up buying the serger was because it was on sale at a great price. I am a male and although my wife can sew and operate a sewing machine, I am the main clown in the family. I've altered custom curtains, Halloween costumes, countless clothing items, etc., but I've always been a bit intimidated by Overlock and just avoided exploring them at all. This is mainly due to the usual high price of an overlock, when I actually only get along well with my sewing machine…
