Answer for 5 year old

So easy to use! My son loves tinkering with things so he was able to do it after 5 or 6 washes. The patches also do a good job of mending. Some people have mentioned putting one on the outside and one on the inside. This works great - they are connected to each other. Pretty hard patches.

Exactly what I needed.

Because I'm a large size, I often have problems with the inner thighs of jeans. I bought them to prolong the life of my pants. They are not used as a base iron on a patch. But if you just follow the instructions, they work great. Just don't forget to warm up the fabric to be repaired before attaching the patch :)

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Easy to repair

Bad glue. Otherwise ok.

I bought these to patch a hole in my jeans. I followed the instructions and the patch was pretty easy. The problem is that the glue doesn't last long, especially when used in places that get a lot of rubbing, like along the waistline on jeans. I didn't have to use more than one, but if I had to do it again I would also use some fabric glue to hold the patch in place.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Pulled out quite a large piece around the knee

I had a pair of jeans that were damaged by battery acid. He took out a rather large piece near the knee. As the jeans were otherwise in good condition I ordered these patches to fix this acid damaged pair and to see if I could also repair the other pair which I had applied super glue to which made the jeans very brittle at the landing point and started tearing around the edges. . Both had to be washed out after I applied the patches, so I wanted to test how well these patches would work right…

Perfect for patching up jeans pockets

I use these on my husband's back pockets on his Levi. It always wears down a stain on a bag, so I tuck them in for those that wear out. Ever since I found them I've put them in the new ones to avoid making a hole. Very easy to use, just iron. The jeans have been washed many times and the patches are still in place. Simply cut to the size and shape you want

  • Off Fashion

I have already patched 2 of my baby jeans, I have been looking for a simple no-sew patch for 2 years. This is a great product and only takes 6 MINUTES to make. It withstands washing and heavy use in playgrounds. My son loves to skate with his knees and rips the knee in all his jeans now I don't have to throw them out. Simply heat the iron on wool setting for 5 minutes, iron the pant area, place the patch sticky side down and then hold the iron on the patch for 45 seconds - done.

Works if you know how.

These patches received bad reviews from some customers who claimed they came loose in the wash and needed to be sewn on. The patches actually work very well, but you have to know how to use them properly. First, make sure the iron is on the highest temperature (for cotton) and not steam. Let it warm up for a few minutes to make sure it's really hot enough. Pass over garment to smooth out wrinkles, allow to cool for a few seconds, then place patch over hole. Be sure to use high pressure. I'm a…
