Good cable! Bright LEDs

I used this cable to move my WiFi/Bluetooth adapter due to poor reception (I also had the adapter to get the correct m.2 dongle). It was a great decision. The cable is very similar to the one on the PCI riser, so it's quite flexible. The only aspect I would consider negative is that the cable has an LED on the other end which is very bright and I had to cover it with tape (for aesthetic reasons). It also wasn't possible to install it without a stand, so you can buy double-sided tape.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Chop! Data Storage

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. It was a little awkward hanging this through the window on the side of my laptop (hope to upload a picture soon) but it gets the job done.

  • Broad Spectrum

Works perfectly! - Internal SSDs

This upgrade was installed today on a Samsung 960 EVO M.2 NVME drive. Wanted to move it to a cooler location in my small NZXT H400i Micro-ATX case. Installation was easy and it works like a charm. If you look at the image I've attached, I don't think the speed reduction is significant.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Compatibility

Great for Gen3, not so good for Gen4

When using the extension on my Samsung 850 Pro (Gen3) the difference in speed was almost zero. However, when using my Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus (Gen4), it reduced the read from 6kb to 2kb, the write from 5kb to 3kb, which is not very good. In short: Extension for NVMe 3.0 = super! Expansion for NVMe 4.0 = loss of performance
