Great product for electrical engineering

It was a great product. I couldn't find it in the big hardware stores. If you can't find it, go to Revane. Everything works perfectly.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Hard to say

Not long enough for electrics

Nipples not long enough to go through 1 1/2 inch studs plus 1/2 layer of wood flooring. Requires 3-4 fittings for all thread sizes, you can tighten it snugly from below the bottom. I didn't use a cheap valve either.

Pros
  • Price
Cons

Fixed slab extended issue

This allows me to push the slab against the wall. It used to stick out of the wall 2 inches from the existing gas line. I bought a 90's 3/4" fitting with a 5/8" flare to hold the gas line in the back box. Great upgrade and reasonable price.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Suction Valve Bracket

Could be better but I'm not surprised the only issue is how the valve attaches to the box, that's the only way it attaches to the retaining ring so it doesn't matter how hard you make it work that the valve is always moving, and to fix the pipe you really need to hold the valve to keep it from crooking

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Big! They should be standard in all new homes.

We've searched all major stores and the local hardware store but found nothing. We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and our gas supply line was sticking out 2 inches from the wall behind the stove at the top of the stove. Using this junction box and the 18" pipe we were able to run the gas line to the bottom of the oven (where the new oven will have room for the gas line) and push the oven against the wall.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Expensive

Fixed "push plate out " issue

This allows me to push the plate all the way to the wall. It used to stick out of the wall 2 inches from the existing gas line. I bought a 90's 3/4" fitting with a 5/8" flare to hold the gas line in the back box. Great upgrade and reasonable price.

Pros
  • Valve is CSA certified to ANSI Z21.15-1997 / CGA 9.1-M97
Cons
  • No automatic mode

Suction valve bracket

Could have been better but I'm not surprised the only issue is how the valve attaches to the box The only one Way it fits is with a locking ring so the valve will always move no matter how hard you tighten it and to attach the pipe you really need to hold the valve to keep it from crooked.

Pros
  • Recessed box made from high impact ABS plastic, provides the strongest finished installation for all gas appliance needs
Cons
  • Slightly torn
