Wow. just wow. in Small Appliances

I love everything Sisteema has to offer but this product just shocked me. It cooks rice well and is easy to clean. The rice just slides out when it's done and I don't have to cook multiple pans or scrape burnt rice off the pan. I even made orzo in a bowl and it came out great. I think it's great that a second bowl is included.

But this is a RTFN for the kitchen and dining room

I just cooked delicious rice for the first time! I've followed the microwave directions on a few boxes of Goya/flavored rice and it's just so perfect, the flavors are more refined, more intense or something. First edible/tasty rice I've ever made, honestly mine is always bland. Or undercooked and then overcooked and mushy. But not anymore!

  • Great for a small house

  • The cord is shorter than others

Not the same as previous products.

I was a big fan of Systema products and bought a rice cooker, soup mug, soup bowl, noodle bowl and egg cooker a few years ago. When I bought the motorhome I thought about equipping it with the same products. So I put her on the list for Christmas. At some point, the company changed the formulation of the plastic. These new products do what they promise, but they don't last as long as the old ones. In fact, these new ones are much more fragile. My soup bowl arrived broken like glass. I have…

The old ways are above all.

I threw both bowls in the garbage chute. Instructions in all sorts of languages but no instructions on how to cook oatmeal in a small bowl. I mixed a serving of oatmeal with water in a 1-2 ratio. I could not find an easily acceptable guide. I was in a hurry. I had to clean the microwave twice because the bowl tipped over. After ordering these bowls for my wife, I read an article about how each person uses as much microplastic as they swallow a credit card in a week. Alright, now I cook the…

For the first time with SUCCESS!

First I read a lot of reviews, one of which was very helpful that this cooker is rated for an 800w microwave. I have 1300 watts so I turned it down to power level #8. I put 1 cup long grain white rice in the cooker (I have NEVER rinsed the rice before cooking in all my years of cooking rice so I didn't use it), added 2 cups liquid (I have chicken with it low sodium uses broth), toss the rice and liquid with a spatula, then put on the pressure chamber plate (protrusions pointing up) and then the

Great, but with an explanation.

I bought this specifically because I needed a microwave rice cooker. If you're looking for a time-saving way to fully cook rice (not instant rice), this probably isn't for you. I wasn't trying to save time, just avoiding the stove and pans. Take a look at the packaging of your favorite rice and find out how long it takes to cook in the microwave. In my case, I used Basmati Brown Jasmine Rice. The time saving between stovetop and microwave is only five minutes. In my opinion the product cooked…
