🔨 Sizzix BIGkick/Big Shot Multi-Platform Tool Review

I really hate this product. I opened the package and found most of the hinge was missing. I should probably say that all of this is gone as all the pieces have been separated. It's a shame they collect so cheaply. Luckily I still have the big one so I can still finish my cards. They should have known it was broken when they wrapped it as there were only two plastic grommets that fell off when I unwrapped it and it had no hinge.

This folding base is essential for using Sizzix machines with embossing folders, dies, thinlits, framelits and triplits. Each fold piece is permanently labeled to help you remember which tab to open for each die used. However, the sticker on my last sign was so badly bulged that I had to peel it off and use a marker to write a new label in the hinge area. The sticker will ruin the stamps or embossing. So I can't give 5 stars, the dirty tag had to be removed. Now I have no reference book.

So nice! When I bought my Big Shot it came with an expanded multipurpose platform which is fine. However, it is long and you twist and turn. I have terrible arthritis and can't turn that much so I waited until I found a full length platform. Finally found it here in Revane and jumped on it. When you have rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and a little bit of osteoarthritis, all that twisting adds up and can really wear down the joints. So that helps me. 3rd SPARE PART - ALL 3 WHEELS DEFECTIVE! The hinges are not strong enough for their intended purpose. Just get the 3rd replacement and the spine will break in 3 places, one edge and two sides of the middle loops. ANY buyer, look closely at the back, the cracks are small but they are. One or two uses and the parts will fall off. I'll try 3 cracks with superglue - better than trying to replace the 4th.
