Beautiful piece and mailed promptlly.

This was a mail drop for the front door. It is heavy and large enough for letters and small newspapers. The spring is very strong. However, it is only the front piece. They need to sell a corresponding back of the door piece to finish off the gaping hole on the back side of the door. We had to be very creative and finally bought items to cut to fit and nail around it. Having the same black coated trim plate for the back of the door would have been nice.Also, I tried to call you, but could not…

Pros
  • Love the look and it’s sturdy. Problem was spring. It is VERY hard to push Mail through
Cons
  • The 12"X4" size may not fit all sizes of mail and could result in important letters getting stuck or damaged in the slot.

Excellent quality & durability

It did not come with the screws so I have to take it to the hardware store to make sure I get the correct threaded screws so I don’t strip out the holes when I install it. I did give a 4 under "easy to install” it would be a 5 star but not having the screws is a bit of an inconvenience. Never the less the quality is so worth it.
