Review: Skechers Men's Walk 5 55519 👟 Sneaker - A Comfortable and Versatile Footwear Option Review

This is my 5th pair of Skechers since 2018 and while they are great right away and for the first 6 months they start falling apart within 12-18 months. Previous pairs are usually weeded out because the soles get thin (turning even any dry run into what appears to be an ice rink) - or in this case, the fabric seams are unraveling. These shoes were quite comfortable, but the sole (inside and outside) wore out very quickly. I walk about 5-7 miles a day but most shoes last 6-9 months. They only lasted 12 weeks. After about 8 weeks they were actually worn out on the inside. I'm not sure I would take these.

One of the most comfortable running shoes I've ever had. Very spacious with extra wide options. It's airy and light. Great on the knees

They are what they are. I walk about 5 miles a day to get work done so I burn through my shoes quickly. My last two pairs of shoes were Hoka One One and this time I just didn't want to pay that much. There is definitely a difference. But for the price it's ok.

Great brand, color and comfortable cushioning EXCEPT the Go Walk 5 has an unusual inseam on the toes which rubs very uncomfortable on the big toes.

This is the third pair of this brand and style that my husband owns. The first two couples were amazing. He ran a lot of miles in those first two pairs, but this third pair has the same quality insoles. The sole is actually thin and flat, especially on the right foot. These shoes caused him pain in the balls of his feet. I think someone made a fake. Very dissatisfied with this purchase.

Use for everyday walking. Good fit. Great shoes and reasonable price. And very comfortable insole. Also keep their shape well. Sketchers are great shoes.

Light, comfortable, not a bad price at all, only a few weeks old but easy on your knees! The biggest review I've noticed, shoes wear out over the course of a year which seems great for the price. The time will show! But happy so far! 😇

Good light shoes. I bought a pair of Skechers hiking shoes last year and I love them. When I was looking for a new work shoe I decided to try these instead of New Balance. I wear them to work and it feels like I'm on vacation in sandals lol. Skechers is my new favorite brand. Good comfortable shoes. Will definitely be ordering more Skechers in the future.

I don't understand these shoes. The leg is too loose, it doesn't sit normally on the inside, the thumb rests on it and I'm afraid it will tear there. The comfort is poor and still incomprehensible to me.

My husband has trouble finding shoes in his size (15). He goes to an outlet store and picks out a pair, so he buys them even if they're uncomfortable or of poor quality. I jumped at the chance to buy Skechers for him online as I've always liked mine. He is SO happy with it! Comfortable, light, fits well and looks great! Skechers for the win!

I have had Planter's Fasciitis for almost a year and have tried 3 other 'most popular' walking shoes for tall men. Yesterday I put these shoes on for the first time and it seemed to me that all my prayers for relief were answered. You are exactly what I was looking for. I love them so much I'm buying a second pair today!

Of all the hiking shoes I've owned, these Sketchers are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I will definitely be ordering shoes from Sketchers again as I walk a lot for work and need comfortable and reliable shoes.

These are my everyday shoes. They last longer than expected for such a comfortable shoe and I take great care of my boots. This is the fourth pair I have bought and as long as they keep making them I will continue to buy them as needed.

Sketchers are the best running shoes. Light and very comfortable, especially these hiking shoes. I need a men's shoe because my feet are so wide and the women's shoes don't have the extra width I need. I bought a size larger and it fits perfectly. You can't go wrong with these sneakers. I like the wide toe and the mesh, which will be very good in the summer. Feet will not sweat. The price isn't bad either. I would recommend buying them to a friend.

True, judging by other reviews, it might not last very long, but it's light and comfortable. My last pair lasted about a year with occasional use. Lots of good stuff. Other shoes that last longer are stiff and heavy. Can't get both, either durable or comfortable.

I bought these for my husband and I have my fingers crossed that they at least fit. Well, he told me that these shoes not only fit him, they fit the best and are the most comfortable shoes he's ever had. Sketchers just jumped to the top of the list. He recommends anyone looking for comfort to buy this shoe.

I like the GoWalk 5 sneakers. The gray color is very understated and goes well with jeans. The shoes are incredibly soft and I can run many kilometers in them. The only downside is that the softness comes at the expense of durability. The sole wears out faster than shoes with a harder sole. But for $50-60 these shoes are no problem.
