Great replacement shocks

Great replacement for my old rusty Rancho shocks and they were about $10 cheaper than the same Ranchos with no real difference in drivability (actually the drivability is much better as the old shocks were so worn out out). . Pretty easy to install if you do a fair amount of PB Blaster on the old shock mounting nuts a few times in the days leading up to the install and put some sort of lube on the inside of the washers to help them slide over the mounting posts more easily. Good mid level shock absorber

I just installed them on a 1995 Jeep Wrangler (06/2016). They have slightly improved the handling. I replaced what appeared to be the exact same shock (Skyjacker Hydro 7000) but they were slightly longer than the ones I had before. They fit. Installation was very easy, even with my stuck rusty screws. It took me about 3 hours just because of the stuck screws. A tip: treat your Kroil or PBBlaster studs every day from the day you order them. When they arrive, your screws will most likely be…

Just because they fit doesn't mean they should be used!

I bought these for my 2004 Ford Excursion 4WD diesel car which has a curb weight of 7800 pounds. Before buying, I knew little about shock absorbers. I was looking for a better ride than OEM shocks with 100,000 miles on them. I assumed these would fit the bill. They fit, but that's it.
