A solid operating system at its price point

I like that it's very easy to install and configure. It's lightweight, so you don't have to worry about running out of hard drive space during installation or configuration. Love what we installed today after years without one

I used slackware for quite a while and when I found out about Slackel, I have to admit that it was a nice surprise, since I didn't know that Slackware has a similar product. It has the same spirit, the same philosophy. The only difference is that in Slackware you have to manually install all the necessary packages for your system. Pros
  • Ease Of use
  • Simple GUI interface
  • Great community help forum
Cons
  • Not bad
