This thing is cute but it takes some getting used to. My dog is 8 pounds but I think it's a little longer than recommended for this bag, it's 12 inches long, my little Chihuahua Blossom liked the bag, she jumped in when I opened it so she couldn't return it. I don't think she had any presents before I adopted her. The pouch used keeps the pet very close to the body. It has a clip to keep pet from jumping out and a fishnet closure with drawstring.

I have a 3.5 lb Morka that uses this belt. She especially LOVES the sling because she can stick her head out or bury herself in it. In fact, we often find her sleeping happily in a bandage all day (we leave her available when not in use). The sling allows me to comfortably carry my little Morkie (hands free) while my 9.5 lb Yorkie walks alongside us. My husband was so skeptical about this purchase but now he's the first one to take it with us when we go camping or to festivals.

Good Product! We have tested various pet slings and this one turned out to be the best. Our 6-1/2 pound Shih Tzu seems happy to be carried in it. The shoulder strap is comfortably padded and adjustable for more comfort. It has a semi-rigid bottom so your pet can sit comfortably in it and has room to sit really comfortably, unlike some other slings we've seen. The quality of the material and assembly is also excellent. There are also a couple of good storage pockets that zip closed. As for size;

My dog loves to be carried, but even at 13 kilos, she gets heavy after a while. That's why I invested in this sling. It is solidly made and holds my dog perfectly.
