Good product, the best of the accessories

I was looking for a good cold shoe to put an external monitor in and I really like it. The best thing is the locking mechanism, which works very well. I am happy

Quality Change

I really like the size and convenience of this adapter. I didn't want to buy another grip for my camera as I already had it. I also like that it keeps my pen unobtrusive. It's sterdi, and the lever is easy to press. Qualitative!

Worth a little more to calm down

I spent a little more on it because of the fuse. I use it as a microphone and it tends to shake. Before I got this mount, my microphone was hung from the camera with an audio cable. And no more.

Best cold shoe mount on the market

I'm a big fan of SmallRig products in general. They always have fantastic build quality and really know how to make super specific gear that works great. This is by far the best cold shoe mount available. Nothing compares to a really nice safety locking system. Without a good security system, it's too easy to accidentally knock a gear out of its mount. I know that from my own expirience. Like all SmallRig products, this mount is near perfection. Doesn't work with Sony compatible flashes

Really wanted to use it to attach a Sony compatible flash to a monopod without worrying about the flash falling off. However, a Sony flash with a multi-interface shoe is not suitable. The thickened trailing edge of the Sony hot shoe ridge prevents the flash from sliding far enough to get through and block the fuse. If the safety bee had been placed a millimeter or two further back it would have worked (but then it might not work as well for other standard shoe types). It's a shame because this…

Excellent quality. Great way to add a cold shoe to any 1/4-20 threaded hole.

If you want to attach a cold shoe to a cage, arm or gimbal, this will do. Fixing screw in stainless steel, the rest in anodized aluminum. When you put on the cold shoe accessory, it presses on the locking wedge. Once you reach the end, the wedge will pop out, holding the accessory securely in place.
