Perfect purchase!

We are completely satisfied with these kitchen scales. The bowl is a particularly useful feature. Additionally, the scale can be adjusted to match the weight of the bowl, giving you accurate readings without resorting to math! It was a surprise to me that we were able to find a lightweight, highly efficient, and accurate scale for less than $15! As usual, our purchase via Prime arrived within two days with no shipping costs. All we had to do was open the box, follow the simple instructions and…

I love this scale! in Measuring devices and scales

I bought this scale for several reasons. I watch my weight and wanted to be able to weigh my food to make sure I was eating the right portions. I also make candy, so I wanted to be able to accurately weigh my candy. And finally, the price was amazing! The scale works great. The bowl is good and makes cleaning easier. I like that you can switch between grams and ounces. I've used both often. To be honest, I didn't think I would use it as much as I do now, but I use the scale several times a day.

Very economical and definitely works as promised.

Bought for my wife because she was on a diet and worried she didn't know how much (by weight) she was eating. I was looking for one that had a few features I liked, but the main issue was accuracy and ease of use (for a diet. So far this has ticked both the boxes, plus the ability to use a bowl, zero the scale and my recommendation is not based on using it to measure baked goods (e.g. cakes, where many recipes call for a weight measurement rather than a volume measurement) as the bowl supplied…

Smart scale for kitchen utensils and gadgets

Smart scale for 5 stars. What I like about it is that the bowl is very handy for weighing portions of pasta. Then there is a simple button to change the default measurement to metric. Best of all, it only uses 2 AA batteries and can be turned off when not in use. I decided to buy this scale to replace my current scale because I would have to pull out the manual just to use its many different functions; and it needed an expensive battery with no way to turn it off. Yes, it was a bizarre dance…

Large Scale - I use it to bake bread

Large Scale - I use this to bake bread and have found that not only can you weigh materials but you can also REMOVE the amount by clicking on the ' button first zero. I slipped twice and dropped it on the tile floor and so far it has survived. UPDATE: OK. a few months later: not so great. He suddenly had unstable readings and no resets, new batteries will cure this. And it hasn't been on the floor since we bought it. Please note that there doesn't seem to be a way to return/repair it either…

But does what it should.

Does what it should. I have two small complaints: 1. There is no tare function. I have other kitchen scales that I brought to work to keep on my desk and they have the tare function that I'm used to. It's nice to have, just because sometimes you don't want to just leave the banana on the scale, sometimes you want to leave it on a paper towel. But paper towels weigh a certain amount. hence the need for containers. I WILL SAY I haven't read anything that came with the scale. So if there is a tare

Best in Kitchenware & Gadgets

I haven't had this scale long enough to know how durable it is, but I'm enjoying it. I have to keep track of the time and amount of food I eat and this makes my way of eating much easier. I can just keep putting things in the bowl or plate and swinging them back and forth. It even works to weigh out how much nut/seed butter or cream cheese etc I spread on bread or crackers. I can just pour what I really need: chips, nuts, peanuts or whatever rather than being limited by volume measurements…

Smart Weigh cleverly exits this mode and now .

Bought this kitchen scale for my wife to cook for the holidays. What you can read before you buy: This food scale has a mode button. If you press the mode button for a few seconds, it will switch to "cal" mode. If you press it again and remember to exit, the "cal" indicator will start flashing. Now you're officially in big trouble: he wants you to put a calibrated 3kg weight on him to recalibrate his gauges! Standing in the kitchen has a standard weight of 3 kg! Smart Weigh ignores this and…
