Very disappointed I like the uniform I bought.

Very disappointed I like the mold I bought it for but after a few months I tried to make another mold and part A was totally hard so I had am End more than half of the product unusable. I looked for an expiration date on the packaging but couldn't find it.

Good product if you are making flat castings

It's ok but not nearly as good as some other 2K silicone rubbers. I use BITY (Brick In The Yard) Platsil 73-20 which has a similar consistency, is a bit more expensive but is much better in performance. My mold started to deteriorate very quickly after a few uses of this product. This product would be good for a simple flat shape, it's not good for undercuts at all, it tears apart. Conversely, my other molds have given me hundreds of castings and are still going strong.

  • Good finish

"Expired " product best in clay molds

I have read several reviews where others have received their product and the pink substance was either lumpy or almost solid and they have offered to buy it directly from the manufacturer to buy. I chose to ignore these reviews and hoped they were just a few unfortunate ones. Unfortunately, my package was similar. I opened them up to make a mold tonight and the pink was almost solid (it actually broke the craft stick I was stirring it with). I buy direct from them but at least I am guaranteed a

Previous Purchase I liked it. However, I opened this batch on 07/22/2017. Part A was cured in a bottle so it could not be used or mixed with Hardener B. So order just a month in advance so you have time to back-order replacements. I was stuck with not being able to make my molds and tried silicone sealant to finish my molds. This didn't work as the sealer sets very slowly and sticks to the items you want to shape. So I spent about $30 on this project; plus $7 for silicone sealant and another…

Pros and Cons of Crafting

This article gets the job done. Listen folks, when it comes to details, look no further. Let me give you an overview of the pros and cons. Pros - Simplicity. Disadvantages - Harder is slower to pour. Benefits - Once mixed (if the portions are equal), you have about 3 hours. water before it hardens…

Attention, extremely limited shelf life!

I bought this in March 2016 to make molds for jewelry. It worked great the first few times - I was able to create detailed shapes and it was easy to use. The main issue I have with this product is that it has a very limited shelf life. I don't know exactly how long it will remain usable, but on the third attempt to use it (August 2016) part 1 became very thick and stretchy and didn't mix with part 2. Basically I wasted 95% product. . I would recommend if you buy this it should be used within…

Pros
  • Power
Cons
  • Requires socket

My red part (yellow container) is mostly hard like super gelatin. Less than 3 months after opening, stored indoors and tightly closed. It was used once, about 1 ounce each time. Pour into separate cups before mixing, use separate stir sticks before mixing before pouring into suitable cups. I'm reopening it in less than 3 months because I now have to use most of it for a job request and find it completely useless at the moment. IF you buy something use it immediately or just do yourself a favor…

I Made Lego Gummy Candy Molds

This worked really well for the Lego Gummy Candy Mold. King of Random has a couple of jelly candy videos (YouTube) that I started with. I changed the mold creation process a bit to save mold material. I was able to make shapes that covered about half of the second 10" base plate. The larger image on the left shows my completed forms. They were made from the entire quantity of this product. I changed the height of the retaining wall to be lower than the king shape. The first image on the right…
