When I opened the package I immediately thought they were the wrong size, they are much larger than I thought or imagined (not bad). Went to install and used regular washing up liquid according to directions and they snapped straight into place. They don't get in the way (on my van), jack away, and provide a fairly large footprint for support. Very happy with the purchase so far.

I find that they make my 5th bike more stable by providing more insulation and leaving room for my hydraulic system. The 12 inch snap pads attach easily enough to the back legs of the jack rest. Installing the 9 inch snap pads on the front legs of the jack was a real hassle. The snap pads did not stay attached to the jack's 9-inch legs because these pads curled up slightly on the outside edge, which prevented the snap pad from fully seating on the support. Not sure if this is a product issue with the weak legs that Lippert installs on their dock levellers. After a bad experience with my leveling mechanism breaking through the pavement, I replaced all the legs and ordered a set of Snappads hoping to avoid this problem again. After having to do some work on our Ground Control 2.0 for our fifth wheel, I noticed that the underside of the footpads were starting to rust. Basically the front hall lifts the foo pads on the trailer, sometimes slips a bit after hooking and retracting the jacks. At home we have a trailer that is leveled on concrete slabs in the rain.
