Consistent quality good for fasteners

For riveting PE tape to PVC. Used 300+ (more than three boxes) and only two of them didn't break the pull pin. Consistent quality and I think there have been a few glitches with my Astro rivet guns (one of which broke during my project). Very happy with the results of using these rivets.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Empty

poor quality rivets

opened his first box and on the second rivet the gun began to shrink from 8 to 10 and the rivets broke off 3/4 of the height. Thought it was a HF tool - returned it to HF aaa and bought some rivets there - yes it wasn't a weapon, HF rivets come off cleanly on the first squeeze or two, maybe a bad batch but I've got to waited a long time to get them off the back

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Straight trash

Straight trash! I doubt these rivets are even aluminum. I suspect Chinese material. The mandrel has the consistency of oil and breaks through the shank. Don't waste your money, instead waste a stainless steel mandrel rivet. While installing them, every other word was a chosen phrase, and I would have made a sailor blush.

Pros
  • Blind rivets

You get what you pay for

I didn't have high hopes for these rivets and overall they worked. However, there are a few things that need to be addressed. Since the entire rivet is made entirely of aluminum (even the mandrel), this creates several problems. Generally, when setting a rivet, the mandrel has an unfortunate tendency to break off in the middle rather than at the head where it should. Also, due to aluminum's relatively low tensile strength, the mandrel is easily removed, making further rivet setting virtually…
