Description of SOCAL-LED 2pcs LED Load Resistors 25W/10 ohm for Hyper Flashing LED Bulbs, Turn Signal Error and Blinker Issues

LED Load Resistor fix "bulb out signal" / "OBC error message" after installing LED light bulb. Fix Hyper Flashing (Fast Turn Signal Blinking) after installing LED light bulb. Easy Installation. Just connect the wires with the splice taps provided, no wire cuting is necessary. Each LED bulb requires one resistor connected in parellel. CAUTION: Load Resistors heat up like light bulbs and get really HOT when working. Mount them on metal surface, NOT plastic.

Worked on my Buick, fits alternators and alternators

Worked as advertised and stopped flashing my turn signals excessively on my 2016 Buick Enclave after switching to LEDs. These are only 25 watt resistors and I was hoping they would work in place of the 50 watt resistors since they run cooler.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Fine

Works Great: Replacement

These were added to my 2016 Indian Scout after I switched to Moto Gadget front and rear end signals. I screwed them on where the rear turn signals used to be and tucked them in the fender. Used standard front signal cables for handlebar ends. Works like a charm, hope they hold up.

Pros
  • Handy Item
Cons
  • High Price

Perfect for my turn signals that don't blink.

I installed 1157 style LED bulbs in my 1983 Chevy c10 and they didn't blink at all. Even with LED indicators! They are installed between the ground and the turning wires (usually yellow or green) and now flash like modern high-end cars.

Resistor used as part of the charger

I used this as a current limiter for the charger backup battery. Not for original use. One noteworthy comment: I've found the resistance to be slightly different than positive depending on the witch lead used. Not enough to make a big difference, just an observation.

Doesn't work for Hyperflare.

Doesn't work for Hyper Flash LED bulbs. The regular bulb is 27w so 25w was close enough, it worked as long as the position lights were off but as soon as you turned them on they started flashing. Can you find out? I'll try 50w and see what happens. You can also use longer wires.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Useless functions

Works great for alternators and alternators

Used in Honda, 2 Ford and Buick. 25W is all you need. Use them for LED signal lights and 25W is all you need. A regular incandescent bulb is around 27-28W and an LED around 3W if you buy brighter ones. I always attach the resistors to the subframe with #6 self-tapping screws because they heat up pretty quickly. T Taps contain its simple complement.

The LED brake lights on a 1998 Honda Accord work well.

I bought these because I had LED brake lights for my 1998 Honda Accord. Dashboard. In the end, the lack of a clean dash annoyed me, so I ordered them to fix that. (Original brake lights use 21w in case anyone needs to know) It was a little tricky to install as the mounting screws I received didn't go through the resistor cooling fins. So I used a Dremmel with a cut-off wheel as the grinding/grinding wheel. Stored the cooling fin next to the screw mount so I can securely attach it to the car…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
