SOCKET - CX3360-1682 SocketScan S700 Review

I had to replace the first one as the battery died within minutes after a month of use. The second did the same, only worse. It's WAY too expensive for that.

The barcode scanner works fine if you have the right hardware. I'm hoping to use it independently, but it requires a tablet with access to the Shopify app, which I need to access my inventory. I ended up bringing it back, but if I had a more tech-savvy team it would work great.

I saw some reviews on this scanner and was hesitant to buy it but it is the only scanner compatible with Shopify POS. I'm surprised how easy it is to use and how reliable it is. This certainly makes verification easier and customers are impressed with how quickly we can scan and inspect their items. So far so good with this scanner. I'll be back with an update in a few months.

For years we've been using mobile outlet scanners at our points of sale at the speed of light. As these scanners are "new", we cannot run any of them longer than 3 weeks. They turn off randomly, turning off even though the battery light is green and fully charged.
