Efficient Black 1D Barcode Scanner - Introducing the SOCKET S800 Review

I bought it to quickly scan codes and add my description with the phone and the application. Every time I turned it on, it scanned just fine, but wouldn't let me use the keyboard on my iOS device to add a description to the app. But it scanned great. Very easy. Easy to use.

Update January 2020 This barcode scanner still works, I'm still impressed with the battery life. lightweight, long battery life. This is a good scanner for use with a square stand.

Excellent scanner. It would have been nice to have the mute and vibrate mode codes on the package insert (which I didn't discover until I checked it again with the scanner a few days later!). It could also be improved by including a strap in the box like one of the other handheld scanners.

My friend recommended this product to me and was happy with this scanner. I bought one, it started freezing and wasn't working properly. I returned the product 45 days ago but they still didn't refund my money, I contacted them and they didn't solve the problem. They didn't get a refund because I came back with a different box and not the original packaging.

I've used several Bluetooth scanners to search on Amazon, I have to say this is by far the best I've had and I don't see myself ever wanting to use another Scanner need, it never misses a scan, always captures the correct numbers, it recognizes many types of invalid barcodes (usually foreign country codes) and does not scan them.
