Description of Solar Panel Charge Controller 30A

Solar energy controller. Collects energy from solar panels, accumulates it in a connected battery, distributes energy to rechargeable devices. The controller will help equip your home photovoltaic system (including home lighting system), can charge 12V and 24V lead-acid batteries (OPEN, AGM, GEL). This controller has PWM technology (pulse width modulation). Batteries receive their charge current from solar panels. As the batteries charge (voltage increases), the current decreases and the controller begins to maintain a constant voltage due to pulse-width modulation of the charge current. Due to this, there will be no overheating of the batteries. After the batteries are fully charged, the voltage decreases and is maintained in a charged state. The maximum power of the connected solar panels for 12V batteries is 240W, 24V - 480W Easy setup, digital display, automatic memory function, adjustable charge and consumption parameters. 4-stage PWM charge controller. Short circuit protection, over current protection, open circuit protection and reverse connection protection, low heat generation. 2 USB ports for charging 5V/2.5A devices. The controller is only suitable for lead-acid batteries. Not suitable for nickel, lithium-ion or other batteries. The LCD display dynamically displays all operating data and conditions. Characteristics: • Nominal battery voltage: 12 / 24V, 12V - the maximum power consumption of the solar panel is 25V 420W, 24V - the maximum power consumption of the solar panel is 50V 840W); • Rated current: 30A; • Max . voltage: 50 V; • Operating temperature: -30 °C to + 60 °C.

Has pros: It works clearly, USB charges phones, there is a scale of battery charge level on the display, everything depends on the Sun, and there are no complaints about the controller. Has some cons: The only negative is that there is no indication of the current from the solar panel on the display, it only shows the voltage on the battery
