To be honest: styling tools and accessories

Solia is my holy grail for hair straightening. I bought my old one back from Folica in 2010 (it was black with blue ceramic plates) and it appears to be a bit bigger than this one - it finally died on me earlier this year. I've researched many straighteners to see if there are better brands and I've been using this one for almost 8 years now so I figured I'd just buy it again. It seems slightly smaller and thinner than the original I bought. The panels don't touch when fully closed, while my…

Straightens hair fast! Makes hair silky.

Love. You don't even have to separate the layers of your hair, and I have thick hair! It just straightens everything up and makes it super shiny. With it, straightening hair takes much less time than with other straighteners. This is actually my second Solia straightener. I've had the first one for 3-4 years and it still works great. I bought these for my daughter.

I love it and recommend it!

I inherited my first Solia straightening iron from my daughter when she decided to stop ironing her hair. I've tried other brands and had to return them because I didn't like the design (e.g. I kept turning the device off because the switch was on the handle. This is not the case with Solia! Like the feel and design ). This iron is the reason I will buy it again. The unit is light and all the switches are on the inside, so there is no accidental turning off when using the handle to control the…

Plates don't close fully

I used to love Solia, I don't know what happened to them as a brand. I had to return this straightener because the plates don't close making it almost impossible to straighten my hair without going through each section an additional 3-4 times (which is bad for my hair due to the extra heat and doubles the time, which I need to straighten). perform installation).

It's definitely not an old model

I've waited a few weeks to write a review on this iron because I wanted to see how it would hold up in everyday use. This is my second salt. My first was about 5 years old and somehow shorted the wire and turned on, but didn't burn. I really liked the old one. However, this one is weird. It looks well made, like a soft rubber material while the old one was like hard plastic. But this new one has totally different records that pull the shit out of my hair! The plates protrude quite far from the…

Attention, thick hair is good for hair care

Not the worst straightening iron, but not the best either. For $70 I was hoping the iron would be consistently hot from start to finish. I have long, very thick, wavy hair and straightening it is tiring. This iron needs to be warmed up the entire time I use it. I have to stop every few minutes to get my temperature back up. That's fine for some, but if you have thick hair I'd suggest investing a little in an iron that stays hot all the time. Also, it's a great straightener that makes my hair…
