Multiple RTC chips on computers and accessories

Out of the 5, only 2 were SN RTC modules, the rest were M which had serious time drift issues. It was a combination of several parts, I would recommend buying only detectable SN chips from another supplier, even if they are a bit more expensive.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Good deal Single Board Computers

I needed DS3231 for a project I was working on and it's expensive to buy them individually so I just unsoldered them from the modules. Everything I've used so far has worked well and I may be ordering more soon.

Pros
  • Computers and Accessories
Cons
  • Not the best

Revainrating 2 out of 5

As best advertised in Computers and Accessories

Nice little board. It's quite bulky and needs trimming, but it's fairly easy to draw power straight from the source and bypass the need for a coin cell battery. Let's face it, it's 2021, who uses button cells?

Pros
  • Single Board Computer
Cons
  • Some Bugs

Multiple RTC chips are best for computers and accessories

Out of the 5, only 2 were SN RTC modules, the rest were M which had serious time drift problems. It was a combination of several parts, I would recommend only buying tried and tested SN chips from another supplier, even if they are a bit more expensive.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Volume
