. I use this card with a Sabrent 4 2TB card in my 2019 Mac Pro. When formatted separately as APFS for each drive, the Read speed almost 3 GB. /s to disk. And the speed is 5 GB/s with Apple RAID 0. When I ran the parallel data reading utility, the clipped read speed on four separately formatted SSDs was about 11.6 GB/s. However, it requires a special workflow to reach the maximum hardware speed. The card is high quality. But I have a suggestion: make the heatsink longer to fully utilize the PCIe

Very good, well made postcard. I also liked the thermal pads as they cover both sides of your NVME SSD. Once everything was assembled my Mac had no problem recognizing the card/drives and setting up the RAID was a breeze. I used 4 x 2TB Samsung EVO+ drives split into a RAID 0 partition. Read/write is well over 6GB per second and could get faster if I upgrade my processor. Very happy!

Added four Samsung NVME SSDs to an ASUS system running Windows 10. Created a striped volume on all four SSDs and noticed high performance - obviously the more reads or writes, the more better performance. .

Plug and Play and works great in Mac Pro 2019 Catalina with 4 SSD; Mix and match and cheaper than Samsung; very good reading and writing speed, faster than the drives installed by ape; Perfect for additional storage, 4K audio/video playback, or as a high-speed work drive for applications like Photoshop, etc. No fan and absolutely silent.

Significant speed improvement on my newly flashed 2009 Mac Pro Tower with dual 3.46GHz 6-core Xeon processors, 48GB of 1333MHz RAM running Mojave after moving my 1 TB ADATA APG SX8200 Pro NVMe SSD to this card. The control photos show "before" with the 4x PCIe NVMe universal adapter and then "after" with the Sonnet Fusion card. So fast that I might not even bother setting up a RAID by moving the boot process back to the 4X adapter and installing 4 identical NVMe SSDs, but that's an option…

A few unexpected hurdles during installation - you need to insert thermal pads, which adds about 10 minutes to the installation. However, it works great and my 2019 Mac Pro has fantastic read/write speeds as a result. The only other problem with macOS is that you can't make a RAID array your boot drive [and it's also a PITA for cleanly migrating the applications directory to a RAID drive] - but that's really 100% on macOS, not with the manufacturer of this excellent product. Would 100% buy it…
