Excellent purchase!: Home Audio System

I didn't dare to buy as it was in use. Nice that it worked great. All instructions were included in the assembly template. Sounds great, fits great. The result is the perfect gift. Thank you Revan And thanks to the previous owner for this care.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I DO NOT TRUST! suitable for compact radios and stereo systems

Received in the post yesterday. It has a "RESTORED" sticker. Installed, enjoyed the sound last night. Today - LESS THAN 24 HOURS - he passed away! My CD is in, the radio doesn't play, the clock is on, but NADA, NOTHING WORKS. I WILL SHIP IT TOMORROW AND I WANT A REFUND!

Pros
  • Gives a comfortable feeling
Cons
  • Weak kit

Meets expectations - exceeds none

Easy to install and delivered well packaged. There was no template, no documents, no remote control. Average sound and performance, but everything worked. I was a bit disappointed when I saw a production date of 2003 on the device. Had I known it was that old I probably wouldn't have bought it, but the price was still fair and it does the job. The only real downside is the poor radio reception.

Very Good Product: Clock Radio

I have had this CD/clock radio for about a month now and I really like it. It was easy to install under my kitchen cabinet and the wood of the cabinet was thick enough that I could countersink the screws and fix the problem some people reported of the screw heads sticking out in the cabinet. It's easy to use and the clock and buttons easy to set up, although I don't need a remote - I'm almost always close enough to use the buttons on the radio itself. The only problem I have is that the VHF…

A reasonable product with a lack of radio reception.

This product is exactly what is advertised. This is a CD player with a radio under the kitchen. It is very easy to install, configure and use. The sound is okay - better than most radios, but certainly not on the level of a mini system or a normal stereo system with bookshelf speakers. It's for the kitchen, as the saying goes - so the great sound was lost to the sound of the hood, microwave and other cooking noises. This is our second of these devices - the first lasted over 10 years before the

Decent kitchen radio considering alternatives and location

There are very few radios under the counter other than Sony, which probably explains its popularity more than any other factor. Given the lack of space, reception is decent considering the antenna is in the power cord, despite having strong signals in a large metropolitan area. You must connect the device to the intended installation site BEFORE installation to check reception. The sound is satisfactory considering the speakers are placed at odd angles to most effectively disperse the sound…

The built-in antenna isn't impressive

It's been a long time since I've seen a clock radio that could be plugged into an external antenna and . . . It's also been a long time since I've seen a clock radio with impressive reception. This unit has above average sound which was definitely our main purchase goal. It wasn't cheap, not even used, and it took a lot of work to secure under the closet. (I ran a flexible metal bracket underneath, which is invisible unless it's on a countertop.) But the sound is a lot better than average. In…
