Exceptional comfort

This is great. I hate most headphones because they keep falling out of my ears. Then I came across the "Boss" product by Koss and I liked it because it stayed in my ears (foam cylinders around the earbuds) but after a while they really wore out on my ears and after about uncomfortable for an hour. I bought a pair of these a little over a month ago when they were on sale and they are great. They have better sound than the ones I've had before (although I've never tried the ultra-expensive types…

EX51 (and 71) best value for money up to €100

As always, I give the product time for an evaluation. In this case, the EX51LP took a while to get used to the "hot" sound. "Hot" here means that the bass and treble sound more pronounced than on other phones, especially the iPod. Not bad mind you, just more of a sound type in your face. I use it with the Shuffle, which, as you may know, has the best bass response of any iPod (PCMag tests also review their new version, where it rates it 71 higher than the Shure E3c), so the bass was really…

  • Designed for up to 100W

Fine. A very happy buyer.

I bought 3 pairs of these headphones. One for my wife that gave it to her nephew because he liked it so much. Note that my wife liked them too, but she rarely uses headphones, so she didn't have to buy them again - she just went back to the Apple iPod if she uses her iPod occasionally. First for myself - I abused them by winding them up on my iPod, putting them in my pocket and committing other acts of violence against them. The third pair was my spare (but I wanted a different color). I was…

Be careful when buying

I actually have the model described above, but I decided to give a review for them as well because they are almost the same, except for the connector in the middle, which is actually more is more of a problem than anything else. I've had these headphones for about 9 months now and I really LOVE them until last week. Very comfortable, compact, great sound. Unfortunately they have started to misbehave lately. In my left earbud, the volume dropped by about 75%. By all accounts it's dead and it…

Good sound but very cheap build

Addendum to my original review (below): If I could change my review I would give these headphones 3 stars instead of 4. They're comfortable, sound great, and are inexpensive, but they're also extremely cheap in construction, which certainly makes one wonder if they're worth the price, even at their low price point. Within a month or two, the screens began cracking/tearing on the wires next to the headphones, exposing a bare wire. They still work and sound very good, but how long before they…

The design has flaws, but for its price.

Headphones aren't bad at all. sound from him. I decided to invest in about 51 LPs after seeing some Revain reviews between Shures and other Sonys. The sound of these headphones is top notch. iPod earbuds are designed to sit outside your ear; but on the 51st they are right up against the ear canal. I like rubber tips. Although people complain that they tend to lose them and that they are expensive to replace, I have not lost any and they are very comfortable. You can leave 51 on for several…

Pros
  • Oxygen-free copper cable for corrosion protection
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

It works, it's good.

Just received, some observations: 1. They are quite comfortable, that's the first thing that catches the eye. There are small soft rubber boots that you put on over the part that goes into the ear canal (it goes in quite a bit). The boots are available in 3 sizes and you can choose the one that suits you best.2. There are 2 reasons why the bass is boosted as others have noted. a) It goes about a quarter of an inch into the ear canal unlike other headphones. If they slip out of the auditory…
