Sony SLV-678HF Hi-Fi Stereo VCR 📼 with Quick Mechanism, On-Screen Display, Player, and Recorder Review

Package arrived on time. The supplier used a shipping box with appropriate padding to accommodate the VCR's size and taped it to the inside of the box to keep it from moving during shipping. Yes, I have experience shipping sensitive goods abroad. The VCR worked without any problems. Used to digitize 25 year old VHS tapes. All controls work and the picture quality is very good. I got along with the miniVHS adapter without any problems.

The set was delivered nice and fast and when it arrived the set was clean and like new, the playback is superb and the recording is superb. A great addition to my little corner of video entertainment. I don't have cable (Roku only), so I can use a Magnavox D/A converter (and a splitter on my antenna) to record the show I want to watch when I'm not at home or watching something else. I'm glad I bought it and I think the price was more than fair.

This VCR was clearly not tested before shipment. The VCR actually took 2 brand new videocassettes which cost me an additional 12.00 plus shipping which your company does not have to reimburse. In fact, I don't recommend such old technologies because of the outdated hardware. Also, this VCR didn't come with a proper remote control and I had to buy one to pair with it. So I lost another $10 for it and now I don't need the remote anymore.
