Overall a good speaker for the money. Not the loudest and not the clearest, but for the price it lives up to expectations.

Good value for money. If you are a music lover you will have to spend more on speakers but for marine applications this is a good choice.

Installed in a boat, after 6 months the woofer fell apart, on all 4 speakers! The boat was kept high and dry, covered and afloat. waste of money and time.

As I expected, the sound quality of these speakers is excellent, and it is. Contrary to what I expected from Sony, there was no mounting material. It's not hard to go to a hardware store and buy the 8 screws that are missing from the speakers, but I can't find 10 inserts to attach the speaker cover. I expect more from Sony.

The speakers fit the existing holes on my boat's back deck, but the screw holes are slightly different. They covered up the trace of the old speaker so there is no trace left of the old speakers. I found the tone and frequency response to be good and I was able to get enough volume without distortion. I liked the black and white leather rear cowl, the center molding to protect the grille and speakers from damage, and the clip-on screw covers on the speaker rim. Overall a good speaker for the…
