I got this product for my mom's 41st birthday as her two children are grown and graduated from high school. The locker is difficult to open, but that's how most medallions are designed. This product is great, it comes with a cleaning cloth and is in a beautiful elegant box. I don't know what a "guitar pick" is. Maybe to open it? Anyway, I love this locket design and I hope my mom will too when I finally give it to her.
