Wiring and function were mostly good, however the thread diameter was too large for the mercury controls to close. I resorted to a round file to reduce the diameter to allow the case to seal tightly. Overall happy to have this old boat back on the water with an efficient yet inexpensive part.

Press to Throttle Home does not work as mentioned in previous reviews. Also, as mentioned in previous reviews, the new derailleur is too large for an OEM application. I used a dremel to enlarge the hole in the control box. Works when I don't need a throttle. Just take a look. I cannot recommend this product as it fits and works as advertised.

like other reviews it was a little more than normal but it worked. Very easy to install as it is essentially plug and play but it only worked for a week. After installing the ignition, the boat started and everything worked properly. A week passed and the ignition stopped working. I wasn't sure what the problem was until my boat mechanic said the ignition needed to be replaced. I will try to get my money back as soon as I get my boat back from the store.
