SOUTHWESTERN BELL FA-970 Digital Answering System: Enhanced with Dual Voice Mailboxes for Optimal Efficiency in Communication Review

I needed a dual mailbox answering machine to replace another other brand that failed. The SOUTWESTERN BELL FA-970 digital answering machine works as intended. It's a little difficult to learn how to turn off the device when she picks up the phone when she starts answering and it's loud; but I have neither with hearing nor with the quality of the recording problems.

It works, if not as conveniently as our previous answering machine (is no longer produced by VTech, it's gone for good). Much better than Southwestern Bell FA972. I wish I knew the 970 is the best machine before I waste time trying to get the 972 to work. Pros: Relatively clear sound plus volume control. Cons: Obsolete product - Southwestern Bell no longer works. The device has no display and will delete the message after it has been played if you do not press SAVE in time.

sadly the days of digital answering machines are coming to an end but I'm still living in the past. If I could, I'd have a rotary phone. I tried the at&t model, the radio shop model. Both didn't work AT ALL. complete nonsense. So I didn't have high hopes for this sweet green. but lo and behold, it really works.
