The more the better! on Accessories and Consumables

circuit of our coach. But I didn't want the inconvenience of having to order and install another one on the bus if it burns down. Plus all the downtime awaiting repairs. So if that surge protector blows, our journey won't be interrupted and we'll be able to buy a new one in a day or two. The surge protector has a built-in delay that protects the bus circuitry with a countdown before object power is turned on. I would rather sacrifice this network filter than the one built into the bus.

Pros
  • Protection against open ground, open neutral, reverse polarity, wrong ground connection, low and high frequency and low and high voltage
Cons
  • Approximately

Will not work as is with the latest airflow lines

As received, this unit cannot operate on a standard 50A airflow power line as the lid outlet is rated at 50A was closed. path (1/4 inch too close to outlet!). I contacted the seller who instructed me to send it back, he couldn't work around the problem. I needed the unit so I contacted the manufacturer hoping for a solution - couldn't reach anyone (didn't make me happy with an expensive RV accessory) and eventually received an email response - the instructions were short and cryptic , in Mainly

Pros
  • Lifetime warranty with attached devices covered
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

I have been using this product full time for almost 7 months. I bought this after a low voltage at the park blew half my circuit breakers. I was lucky that everything was damaged. Low and high voltage are dangerous. It has worked several times over the past 7 months to protect my RV. I recommend people to get protection for their RVs and recommend this brand too. It would be nice if they had a handle that would make it easier to plug in and unplug the RV power cord from the unit which is why I…

The more the better! for accessories and consumables

I didn't dare to buy this overvoltage protection because I installed it in the electrical circuit of our bus. Pros
  • The only electrical protection system that provides load side ground overcurrent and open neutral protection (50A only) in the RV

Defective, melting around the pins of the connector!

This product is defective. It melted around a pin of our connector. Thank goodness it didn't start a fire! We spent about $400 on it and were shocked it even happened, not to mention it was only eight months ago. We needed to replace both the surge protector ($392.13 via Revain) and the plug ($18.68 via Revain), so we contacted the seller to request a full refund for both, which would have totaled $410.81 . We read other reviews and realize that we are not the first to experience these horrible

Pros
  • Lifetime Warranty with Connected Equipment Coverage
Cons
  • Some Errors
