your top shelf. If you want the best and the simplest, buy this. I lost my last set but I've had them for over 10 years. Great idea and will last a lifetime.

I prefer this type of stretcher bars as they don't have any sharp edges that can cut the wire under high tension. very easy to use and it came at a great price.

This may not be all she got for Christmas but what she will use. My wife does most of the spring fence repairs. With two of these and a dash block, she can now use her ATV winch to pull and haul the wire.

Makes pulling solid or barbed wire easier. This is our 2nd order. 1 missing. you know how it is Drop it anywhere you work and can't find it when packing. So this one was painted pink so it will stand out when it hits the ground 😁

This tool works well with barbed wire. Will not work with 1/8" rope, Railing 1-19. The cable simply slides through the jaw of the puller. This is a very simple design and will be much more durable than cheap/soft toothed jaw pullers. The absence of teeth means that the wire will not be damaged. Too bad it doesn't work with thin wire.

Works as expected but barbed wire breaks in print circuit under high stress. By pressure I mean less than you could get on the wire with a yellow fence stretcher. After a few glitches I now stretch the cable with it and then use the fence stretcher for the last 6-12 inches on the 1/4 mile run.

This tool works well on barbed wire puller jaws. This is a very simple design that is much more durable than cheap/soft gripper serrated pullers. The lack of teeth means that it doesn't damage the wire.Too bad it doesn't work on thin wire.

To use this tool slide the ring towards your ear and find the groove in the ring. Pass the wire through the groove and rotate the ring so the groove is on the opposite side of the wire. As soon as you start pulling on the wire, the ring slides down the conical part of the tool and clamps the wire without slipping, at least on barbed wire.
