Not Worth the Price!

This magnetic compensator is a huge disappointment .It's difficult to calibrate and produces inaccurate results. THE only pro is that it appears durable. The cons vastly outweigh any potential benefits. Save your money and invest in a different industrial and scientific tool..

Updated original review (below). Received a new transit the next day after requesting a replacement, so +. After fitting the spare gear I immediately noticed that it took half the time to level it and I could hear what I thought was the internally working compensator (the new one was louder than the first one anyway). I checked again as stated and was within 1/16 inch so I am happy with the product now. so he was even. I went through the directions to check the line of sight and she was over 12
