Bought for a 1978 Lincoln Mark V. The simplest heater core I've ever made. The replacement is under the hood on this car, not under the dashboard. Removal: 4 screws, 2 clips. Pulling up. The whole job took 1 hour, removed the old one, installed a new one, new hoses, a new heater valve. The new heater core has 5/8" fittings, use 5/8" hose. All you need is Gates high quality red heater hose, some Permatex sealant and CTB-22 constant tension clamps. Never run out again. It was just right. I mean…
