SBF 302 with short headers. That was great. A hex socket is easier to tighten than a hex plug. It's still necessary to use a hex head in hard-to-reach places, but it speeds up header removal/installation. The included sock is for getting started only. You will need an Allen key to tighten them.

Indispensable in hard-to-reach places or when using head joints. The small hex screwdriver that comes with it isn't really 6mm like I thought it was, but a UK size which is between 5.5 and 6mm (maybe 7/32 inch?). The driver tool is a bit choppy, but it worked for me. The screws tighten up nicely and firmly with the cap screw so no problems so far.

These are great when you need longer screws but if you are going to rely on a round hex wrench then don't do it, it does the job like no other. The Allen key sucks. Shortening the allen wrench on the short end will work, but I don't think the bolts are made of as strong a material as most distributor bolts. I wanted something with a coating or zinc to prevent corrosion but it wasn't worth it. I don't trust these screws and the Allen key is weak. Also, they should have 16 per pack, not 12 lol.

I used these cap screws on my Custom Rat Rod Econoline. First of all, this kit is for a 6 cylinder engine. So if you have a V8 you will need two kits. I didn't notice that when I first ordered it. Finally, as others have pointed out, the hex tool is NOT for tightening screws! If you try, he will undress. There was even a little piece of paper in the kit where it says so. This tool easily helps you to tighten screws by hand. This helps when trying to turn a nut in tight spaces.
