That's pretty gross! I've ordered and used this citric acid a few times but today when I went to open my bag I accidentally saw a dead bug inside! This was clearly the manufacturer's fault and not Revain's fault, but either way I can't use it now.

I have started cleaning my water still. And I have found that it works very well for cleaning plumbing. He gets mineral buildup from everything. I even use it for pots and pans. I work with him with disposable gloves because my skin is sensitive and it burns a little on my bare hands.

I run it through our dishwasher. Washes well, dishwasher works better after washing. I recommend this product. I've bought some expensive dishwashing detergents in the past, but I've noticed that the active ingredient is citric acid. It's a lot cheaper to buy pure citric acid in a two-pound bag.

This stuff is hard to find locally. So I went to Revain and they didn't let me down. I use it to make homemade dish soap. It works great, cleans great and I couldn't be happier. My dishes shine clean without having to wash them first. It's great and saves me a ton of money without adding any dangerous chemicals.

Really good quality citric acid at a good price. I use it for both bathing and cooking (try mixing it with sea salt and cayenne pepper instead of fruit!
