Description of 🕷️ SpiderMaker SpiderFlex" - Enhanced Flexible Printing Filament

MAKE IT MATTE: Everything looks better with a matte texture. It helps to make details that are otherwise overlooked standout and hides away unrealistic layer lines. RUBBER-LIKE FLEXIBILITY: Thanks to the flexible nature of TPE material and a shore hardness of 85A, you can expect your build to be impact resistant, shock absorbent, low temperature and abrasion resistant. NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL-METAL HOTEND: All-metal hotends could result in clogging. Please avoid using all-metal hotends with SpiderFlex filament. DIRECT DRIVE EXTRUDER RECOMMENDED: For the best results, we recommend using direct drive extruders. This is to allow the distance between the drive gear and melt zone to be as short as possible, ensuring the most efficient feed. (*Suggested print speed: 10-30mm/s). VERSATILE APPLICATION: SpiderFlex filament can be used for a broad range of 3D printing applications. (*Suggested Printing Temperature 210°C - 230°C) Including, but not limited to gaskets, phone sleeves, watch straps, flexible hinges, rubber tires, and so much more.

Impressive Flexible Printing Filament

This flexible printing filament is a game-changer for me. My analysis of this product showed that it not only prints smoothly but also gives superb flexibility to the final prints. The filament adheres well to the build plate, resulting in well-structured 3D prints that need minimal post-processing. The product is perfect for those who are involved in 3D printing projects on an industrial and scientific level. The only downside I found was that it requires slightly higher temperatures during…

Pros
  • Smooth printing, excellent flexibility, and minimal post-processing.
Cons
  • The filament requires higher temperatures.

Spidermaker is my favorite

I think it's the matte finish that makes them look so good but the quality is great too. I only do some print jobs with cheap products, but when I want something to look great I pull out the Spidermaker stuff as soon as I'm ready for the "final cut". I don't know what they do differently but this stuff is my favorite. This thermoplastic is very soft so I print at 10mm/s and 230 degrees to keep everything smooth. I'd say give it a try, but Spidermaker is hard to come by, so I'd rather keep it to

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Bad TPE to work with and not worth the price.

For TPE, this material is very good value for money even with almost 25% discount for which I bought this thread. First, for a matte filament, the prints aren't really that matte, more of a glossy satin. And for some reason this thread sometimes likes to warp off the surface of the print, even with a layer of glue stick. This material also has terrible layer adhesion and I wouldn't be surprised if it has something to do with the matte finish. TPE with the same equivalent hardness of Ninjaflex…
