Good stuff!: Weatherproof

Great item. Used it for an interior console in an old truck. I used 2 layers of this on the project before wrapping the project in cloth vinyl. It's soft enough to soften the edges and give it a factory feel. Adheres very well to MDF and to itself, so doubling it up for more padding is no problem.

Pros
  • - Eco-friendly, made from non-toxic materials, safe for use in the home, office or car
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

more foam than neoprene

Less than expected quality. I thought it would be more rubbery and durable. It is very easy to drill a hole in this sponge material. Also, the adhesive layer tends to peel away from the "neoprene" foam piece a few weeks after it's been glued to something. and then a bubble is created between the glue and the foam layers. I will not buy again.

Pros
  • - Used for plumbing, soundproofing, padding, expansion joints, sealant, weatherproofing
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Good budget alternative to Sorbatan

Product arrived with no physical damage or cosmetic blemishes. I used it to convert a mechanical keyboard and am very satisfied with the result. Noise and vibration are absorbed fairly well, and keyboard rumble is gone. The adhesion is so strong that when I reinserted a piece, the adhesion of the old pieces left marks on the plastic and steel panel. In the case where you put it on and leave it is fine, but in the case where you experiment and peel the neoprene off the surface, cleaning it up…

Pros
  • - Blocks air, dust and moisture, commonly used around door and window frames
Cons
  • Doubtful
