Ford e350 1995 rv - parts

Fits perfectly on the front of the e350 with a 2 inch lift kit with spring spacers. They fit and barely touch the ride height. They are 1 inch taller than the e350. Drives well.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Modernity

NOT as advertised ๐Ÿ‘Ž: shock absorbers, struts and suspension

not as advertised! Not 7 inches tall, just 5 inches the same height as OEM. Just a 5/16 bolt, barely big enough to tighten without clicking. You won't get any lift. Very disappointed. Won't buy another sumo nothing!

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Some small things

The huge improvement over OEM

Replacing the OEM fenders with these was one of the easiest and best things we've done for our motorhome. It softened the ride, flattened the nose and stopped my endless body rolling through corners and braking. Takes about an hour for both with the right tools. โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ

Driving behavior has greatly improved.

The fenders on my 2008 Holiday Rambler UFO are gone. I added Sumo Springs to the W-24 chassis and what an improvement. When passing expansion joints on bridges, it doesn't sway as much and bounces a lot less. Made the I-95 in the SC almost bearable. I wish I hadn't waited so long to install it. There are plans to add them to the back as well. The R-26 uses the same rear gas chassis as the front.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Slightly torn

This is probably the biggest payoff of all my suspension upgrades.

This was the last upgrade to my suspension, after the front and rear cross members, rear anti-roll bar and four new Bistein shock absorbers, all of which progressively improved my car's handling and stability. Camper based on the W22 workhorse. The front Sumo springs took away the last bit of roll and the "overhang" feeling I had when cornering or on crown-heavy roads. They actually make the motorhome look smaller than it is and should have been standard equipment on all Workhorse W-Seriesโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • I'll be silent

Sumo Front Bumpers for W22 Chassis

Five stars simply for perceived quality, reputation and reviews. Don't listen to what they say about the impossibility of installing. My mechanic told me it was an 8-9 hour job just for the front two. I had to disassemble this and that, etc., etc. With a little creativity attaching the washers and re-starting the nuts, I'd say it took me a total of 1-1/2 hours from start to finish. Knowing what I know now, I could probably shave half an hour off the time. I plan on putting the Konis in theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Not as good as it says
