This is my 6th shelf from astarin li. Same good solid quality but this time the rig was NOT pre assembled as advertised. The first four I received about two months ago were. I had a rack where one screw (of about 20) didn't fit into the metal arm because the threads weren't cut properly. Overall the price is cheap so I can't dispute what I got. I was fooled by an ad that said one thing but actually something else entirely. Therefore only 3 stars.

Looks like they're saving money on paper and ink! Neither my wife nor I could read the fine print in the completely inadequate instructions with a magnifying glass. Some printed parts are in font size #10. Also, see all those screws in the yellow fan rack? Nuts were not delivered. They use the same nut on other parts of the frame. So they print on the nut box the number of nuts it contains, and that matches what comes with it. Where are the other 20 nuts? Oh, I'm going to ACE Hardware for that.

I built this 8 ply and 6 ply from the same manufacturer - they are very similar hence my 6 ply review follows. Good mining frame, not too difficult to assemble. The fan shroud is very difficult to install with the included wrench - I don't have the metric bits for my screwdriver. Missing part (they covered it with marker as if the part didn't exist at all) which others seem to have claimed as a missing part (AS-I) as well, part labeling sucks, no B the kit doesn't include any screws for power (unlike other cases I've bought) and the legs were on the wrong side of the legs which confused me a lot. I bought another one exactly like this and it was identical in many ways. This one has been mostly assembled and the small details make a lot more sense. Rather than bolting each bar to build the frame, the sides and bottom are already assembled, then the entire frame is assembled using two bolts and four L-brackets (and then some other parts are attached). I like the frame. It definitely takes more than ten minutes to assemble. Some of them come pre-assembled, which is good (more on that below). Everything fits together very well. Everything is fine with the connectors for the motherboard, the accessories for connecting the hard drive and the power supply, as well as all the associated devices for connecting.
