these canisters are junk! I am so disappointed. They rusted on the underside causing rust all over my counter! I don't have many of these and can't recommend them!

I've been using them for about two months now and I'm very satisfied. They are nice on the counter and seal very well. I use two of these for different ground coffees and it's so easy to lift the lids and scoop out the coffee with a spoon; much easier than burying a spoon in a coffee bag! I haven't seen any leaks or moisture inside. I would recommend buying them and putting them on the counter.

These canisters look exactly as pictured. The only downside to these containers is that they are quite small. Although I saw the sizes listed, I didn't realize how small they would actually be. None of the canisters could hold a full sack of sugar or flour. The benefit of being smaller and stackable is that they don't take up too much countertop space. I have easy access to it and the extra flour/sugar is kept in my pantry.

My mother was washing containers and noticed bubbles coming from the bottom. She showed me and I also saw them flow from below. These containers are poorly made! I missed that the fillings slip every time I try to close them but there are holes in the metal?!? Bad product period. I just wanted my mom to know a week early. It's too late to ask for a refund. This container contained soft treats for puppies, after washing they look like this.

After ONE WASH the containers were RUSTED. I washed the containers, dried them with a towel and let them dry on a drying mat. When I had time to work in the kitchen again two days later, I was looking forward to my new containers. I was shocked to find that there was rust on every locking mechanism on every container. Bought this (and others) to replace ceramic containers that always cracked when cups and pots were dropped on them. It holds up pretty well to whatever it throws at it. It's also very insightful! [Edited 10 months after purchase - about half a year after purchasing several of these tins, I discovered the bottom had rusted, one of which left a stubborn stain on my white countertop. That's it. You cannot touch the item, you can only hope that it is a quality item. You must trust Revane. But Revain is not a curator of trifles, Revain is a flea market for Chinese junk at American prices. I'm tired of giving things back so I'll leave this and get back to you in 6 months. UPDATE: Don't believe the no questions asked guarantee as stated on the product page. They would not refund my money until they determined the cause of the rust and they only did so after subtly emphasizing the expectation that my review would be edited to a higher score.
