Got a bracelet for my 16th birthday. The pearls have a decorative fleece look. The cord looks like thin paracord and has a bead that holds the two strands together for adjustment. Comes on a decorative card and plastic wrapped in a black box; the only problem here is the whole packaging and a slight chemical smell from it. I'm not sure how long it will actually last with thin string or if it will leave a bead trail.

I wear a couple of bracelets similar to this one and my daughter has asked for one. I'll surprise her with this at the end of the week, but I wanted to try it on myself first. It will definitely fit an 11 year old as it fits my 40 year old wrist with plenty of room. The bracelet is beautiful and simple. It comes in a sturdy box that gives a good first impression before you open the box. In the box, the bracelet is wrapped around the card in a plastic sleeve and placed over a velvet pad. This bracelet does not shine so live. The pearls are a bit dull. It's just a simple thread bracelet that probably won't last long. It's not really anything special, but it's a low price point, so it's not really meant for the high-end. If it had some shine I would like it a lot more. It is in order.

The bracelet is very pretty and will please even a picky 13 year old girl. There is a bolero style bead on the back to adjust the length. If the remaining waxed thread is too long, you can simply knot it and trim it. Long enough to be worn as a bracelet or anklet. Easily fits an adult-sized wrist. A good gift for a picky teenager.
