Don't waste money!

Before purchasing I read the reviews and many of them were negative, some of the reviews mentioned that these are not real ball valves, there are no balls in them. But since the price is cheap, I decided to give it a try. They turned out to be very difficult to turn, I can't even turn them with a wrench, maybe you're right, these aren't real ball valves. I've used them on aluminum threads that I cut myself and the threads that I cut were perfect. I have tested them with brass and stainless steel fittings after trimming and they were smooth and free from imperfections where they looked like they were loose or clamped. I was…

style, at a price I might keep for other uses (e.g. dump valves). fairly well made valve (apparently 316 stainless steel). And unlike the previous 2-inch valve, which was said to be made of 304 stainless steel (which had a full bore), this one hasn't a hint of rust. The inside length of the tread might be a bit short for steel. pipes under high pressure. But I use it to connect low pressure to PVC pipes. And it seemed to fit the PVC fitting snugly enough. However, most PVC valves are bulkier…
