Rusted in a week - hammered a few holes in the car.

Used to close multiple openings in the car to keep the mouse out of the air vents. Rusted within a week. Also, it's iron, so I don't know what type of stainless steel they're claiming, but it rusts far too quickly in places that aren't directly exposed to rain.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Operating speed

Waste of money on hand sanding products

Arrived today. Very thin material and I had to guess where to cut to start the roll as there were no instructions. I bought it as a mouse protector. Trust me: it won't work. I received two rolls and felt this product was overpriced. Why you need gloves, no idea. I am extremely disappointed.

Rusted right away. suitable for finishing materials

I used this with sealant to fill some gaps/cracks on the inside of an outside wall (under the kitchen cabinets). While waiting for the sealer to dry, I saw that this steel wool was already rusted. Literally in 1 hour, just in contact with the seal. I removed it immediately. Will return.

great for RV gaps

love the fact that I don't have to stretch like a pillow, loved that it comes with gloves and we used it to close our RV in camp for the winter and using it as a precaution to keep mice away. We have a new RV and there was an odd hole under the bathroom sink that I wanted to add and it was great and easy to use. Let's hope it works the way I intended.

Keeps mice away!: Decoration material

We recently bought a new double-width caravan for the countryside. Little did we know there were huge holes under all of the sinks where the plumbing ran. Mice easily found holes and settled at home while we were gone. After inspecting the house and finding all possible holes, we stuffed this steel wool into each hole and finished it off with vermin mounting foam. The foam was probably superfluous, but I never want to see a mouse in the house again. It's been a few months now and we haven't had

No More Squeaks ๐Ÿ˜€

Living in a 100+ year old house sometimes has unique and annoying challenges. Once upon a time there was a little mouse, I call her Squeaky๐Ÿ™ƒ, which I couldn't "drive away" in any way. Every morning at 2:18 am I would hear him climbing the stairs and creaking as he landed on each step. He was smart and the pest control company couldn't seem to catch him as he avoided every trap. After reading a bit I decided on this steel wool and bought it. I placed it under the baseboards in each room andโ€ฆ
