🍲 Boil-Proof Stainless Steel Pot Watcher – Avoid Overflowing Pasta, Soups, and Milk Review

This is the only thing that keeps my rice from overcooking. I had trouble with rice cookers. Every time I cooked rice, it kept simmering on the table and the quality of the rice was terrible. Bought several rice cookers and they all did the same thing. No more problems with my rice. Good product.

I was so excited when I discovered this product and read that it no longer overflows when cooking pasta. Unfortunately, this did not prevent the pan from boiling. I'm writing this review after cleaning my stovetop of all the water and pasta foam that spilled on the top of the pot. I would not recommend this product. The only good thing is that it arrived on time.

This cook control disc is a simple yet powerful anti-cook tool! We use it to heat milk (for lattes and hot chocolate) and it has saved us hours and hours of frustration and cleanup as the milk is much more difficult to boil off. Having bought both I can say the product is identical to another seller's Boil Control Disc so buy whichever is cheaper knowing you are getting the same thing either way.

If you don't have a stainless steel casserole, you don't know what you're missing out! I have one at our winter home and one at our home in Ohio. other people who have never heard of them and now rely heavily on them! No more tidying up when cooking eggs, potatoes or anything else! Simply place the pot on the bottom of the pot and add water and whatever you want to cook. No cooking unless you fill the pot completely to the brim!

I had a glass viewer but it fell and broke. I chose this stainless steel model so it wouldn't break. I tried it the 1st time and the milk almost spilled out of the pan. I decided to give it another chance and of course I had a big mess on the stove today. I'm not sure what's wrong with it, just noticed that it's not as heavy as glass. I didn't expect it to work as well as it does now. Where has this thing been all my life? I make masala chai every day. They boil milk with tea for Indian tea. For years the milk boiled over at least once a week and I had to clean the hob. This guard enlarges the bubbles, which prevents the milk from foaming. Milk will eventually foam if overcooked. like 10 minutes or so. Now I have no problem making tea. I don't have to clean the hob every week

Cooking milk at home used to be a chore. Eventually you take your eyes off the pot and the milk will boil and make a mess. Until I found this pot guard. That was a great blessing. It makes enough noise to alert you when the milk is boiling and prevents milk spills by releasing gas bubbles. We've been using it for a month and we're very happy with it. A note: do not fill the pot to the brim, as the milk will move in the pot as the disk swings up and down, so the milk has to move.
