The balled end flips back and forth and this makes it difficult to retrieve the golf ball.

I am disappointed with this product. The balled end of the product flips forward and backward thus making it very hard to keep the golf ball in the balled area. While trying to retrieve the golf ball, I tried to catch it and the balled area of the retriever flipped backwards and the golf ball fell back into the water. A golfer does not want to reach into the water or poison ivy area in order to retrieve their golf ball. This product does not solve that problem. It was quite expensive in that it

Ball retriever works great

This ball retriever is very easy to use. I love the length of it to extend to 9’ if I need it.Made some good use of it in my last round of golf to save a few balls that I needed back. Wish my golf game is as good as the retriever 😀

Used right away on my review.

This has already saved 3 of my golf balls and 2 of my friends in the first two weeks of ownership. No more wading into the water mid-game or trying to fish it out with a club. Would highly recommend this addition to your golf bag.

Works great best in my review

Have this in my bag, now I don't go fishing for golf balls, but sometimes my ball will land in a bad spot, near tree, near water, etc, I would not rather take the chance of falling in or hitting tree, so I use this to get my ball, have used it a handful of times now and it works great and does have good reach, very happy

Compact and always available

I really like it alot. One tip though: Extend it fully and coat it with WD-40 to keep the water from ruining it's life span. Mine got a little sticky and this solved all of my problems.

Nice ball retriever!

I always wanted to have one like this. Whenever I played golf I could find balls but couldn’t reach them. This one perfectly solved the problem. It is easy to use and to keep it my golf bag. It is good price too. It gave me more fun for golfing.

okay retriever, but the length isn't good.

Most ball retrievers on the market can extend over 15 feet and still feel very sturdy when doing so, not this one. This model is okay for a ball that is close to the edge, but if it's pretty far in there you may have issues. Once the retriever is extended to the maximum length it becomes very wobbly and hard to control. Given the very reasonable price I bought it for, I'm not upset by this, but there are definitely better ones out there.

Only 9ft long. on my review.

This was a settle for it buy because I couldn't find the one I wanted. It turns out to be totally satisfactory but it's 9ft extension just isn't long enough.

THE retriever you're looking for!

This golf ball retriever is everything you're looking for! One of my favorite things is that folds down to fit in a bag pocket so it doesn't take up club space in your bag!It is easy to use, and the grabber for the end or your putter that it comes with is a nice bonus!

This is a much needed item in my golf gear! Very easy to use and retrieve balls from the water or down a steep bank. I don’t leave to golf without it!

Needs a spring: my feedback

I have only used it outside on the lawn but have already decided it would be better with a spring to push the cup closed. Otherwise it does feel solid with a good grip. I will update after using on the course

Extended ball retriever is an excellent tetriever. The golf ball retriever cracked after a few retrievals. Cheap hard plastic. The prong cracked.

Works well for my opinion

Used the extendable golf ball retriever right away to get a couple of balls out of the pond. Some people might attach the screw on golf ball retriever to the top of their putter but we thought that would be awkward. We decided to instead attach it to a 3 foot long wooden dowel 3/4 inch wide. It is handy to reach a ball in the bushes.

Does exactly what you expect it to

After using a hoop ball retriever that broke from lateral stress, I've been very pleased with the basket design of this ball retriever. It's easy to pick balls up and a notch keeps them in the basket without requiring me to place stress on the plastic. It collapses to be small enough to fit inside a pocket on my golf bag. Would recommend!

Beginner golfer and this was a nice retriever for the price. Sometimes the little clip gets in the way when you turn it to get a stubborn ball.
