Have this in my bag, now I don't go fishing for golf balls, but sometimes my ball will land in a bad spot, near tree, near water, etc, I would not rather take the chance of falling in or hitting tree, so I use this to get my ball, have used it a handful of times now and it works great and does have good reach, very happy
