These brackets allow flush mounting of the GX1700 VHF radio. Quick and easy installation if you have access to the back of the unit. Will not work in a blind installation where the radio cannot be accessed from the rear or side. Keep your radio securely attached to your dash and ensure a clean install.

What else can be said about a pair of screws and brackets? Alright, let's check. This hardware is all stainless steel, but unlike the picture, the "legs" on the ends of the screws are not brass. They are made of stainless steel. I think it was a design change and I'm glad. As we all know, different materials cause less noble materials to corrode in the marine environment. So I like the new design better. The radio works fine.
